Can you help?
There are a lot of jobs that need doing to organise our weekly sings, keeping everyone in the loop and monitoring safety for our group. There are emails to send and Facebook posts to keep up to date. The Zoom calls need to be moderated, vaccine passes scanned, subs collected and music organised and taught. The KCC committee and our song leader Carol Shortis take responsibility for all these jobs, but we're anticipating that there will be moments when we're short of boots on the ground, particularly this term when folks may have to stay home because of illness or requirement to isolate. We're calling for choir members who might be able to step in to help cover these essential roles, so that we can keep choir going no matter what... if you would be interested in being backup for any of these roles, please get in touch with us, or see a committee member on Tuesday evenings. There is work to do on-site as well as in the planning and admin for each session. We'll be training up volunteers
during this term to cover the following:
- Location review and recommendations
- Covid vaccination pass scanning
- Attendance & subs monitoring
- Zoom moderating
- Covid-19 management plan review team

In addition to this, Carol is keen to hear from anyone who would like to take a more active role musically. Perhaps you have some instrumental skills that we can use outdoors (guitar/ukulele?) or would like to try your hand at leading a song. If this sounds like you, please talk to Carol on a Tuesday, or email using the link in the weekly update.
